Samson Siasia gives NFF two weeks ultimatum to pay him his owed salary

Rio Olympics Bronze winning coach Samson Siasia has given the Nigeria Football Federation a two weeks ultimatum to pay him all his owed salaries or he will sit in the NFF's Abuja office until he's paid. Siasia signed a two year contract with the NFF which ended this summer after he led the Under 23 team to win a Bronze medal at Rio 2016 but complained that he was owed for 5 months and at even one point in time during the Rio Olympics threatened to join his players on a strike.

"I have given them a two-week ultimatum to me pay me or I will sit inside the NFF office in Abuja until I get paid," Siasia told BBC Sports. "The national team is preparing for a World Cup qualifier and to be honest my unhealthy distractions are the last thing they need right now."

Photos: One dead as over speeding fuel truck falls and crushes a car on Ikorodu road

A fuel truck fell and crushed a car at Ikorodu road today 25th Sept, 2016 at about 4:08am. According to the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, the Mack Truck with registration number AGL 664 XG laden with 33,000 litre PMS, belonging to Forte Oil, fell due to the overspeeding of the driver.     'While the truck was trying to turn at the round-about, it fell on another Hyunda Saloon Car and the only occupant, an unidentified adult male died in the car.' The prompt response of LASEMA, Lagos State Fire Service, LASTMA, Civil Defense, FRSC and The Nigeria Police force to the scene for recovery operation prevented the incident from escalting into a major disaster with the spillage and also promiximity of the incident to a filling station.The truck was carefully lifted, while the dead body was extricated and subsequently taken to Ikorodu General Hospital Mortuary. Also the vehicles involved in the accident were cleared off the road and handed to the Police.

Man City manager,  Pep Guadiola is asking for an apology from Ivory Coast and Man City midfielder, Yaya Toure 's outspoken agent, Dimitri Seluk, regarding comments he made about him and the club recently.Toure, 33, has made only one appearance for City this season and was left out of their Champions League squad, this prompted a response from Seluk who said Toure had been ‘humiliated’ by his former Barcelona Coach.  Guardiola who felt Toure's agent was being disrespectful, says he will not play Toure until Seluk apologises.

After Yaya  was left out of City's Champions League squad, His Agent Seluk said:    'It is Pep's decision and we must respect that.  If he wins the Champions League for City this season then I will travel to England and I will say on television that Pep Guardiola is the best manager in the world. But if City don't win the Champions League then I hope that Pep has got the balls to say that he was wrong to humiliate a great player like Yaya.     'Yaya is a professional and so he will do everything he is asked to do. Perhaps Pep will think he is good enough to play in the final 10 minutes of a League Cup game against a third division team – and, yes, I am joking. But what I can tell you is that Yaya will spend the season at City. He will not be leaving in January. German football goalkeeper concedes 43 goals in 1 match — and is swiftly arrested by police

Marco Kwiotek, a goalkeeper who plays for German lower league club SV Vonderort was arrested at the team’s training ground about 30 miles north of Dusseldorf in Bottrop, just five days after he allowed 43 goals in one match.

According to The Sun UK, as Armed police acccompanied Kwiotek, 25, off the pitch after arresting him, the keeper hollered to his teammates that the cops “just want to clear some things up,”

The police declined to comment on the reason for the arrest while another report said Kwiotek was released almost immediately after he was taken in for questioning.

According to Facebook user Osquare D. Okpanachi, an incident occurred which shook the residents of Kwali in Abuja, recently.

An old man who is thought to be in his late fifties or early sixties, was caught having carnal knowledge of a little girl of about 4 years, right in the middle of a bush path.

Here’s what Okpanachi who shared the post wrote:

“I have always known there is evil in the land, but I didn’t know it will go this length where an old grandfather will molest & destroy the virginity of a poor 4-year-old child. This happened in Kwali, Abuja. My heart is crying for severe punishment for this devil incarnate.”
